StormwaterTools serves as a platform for the personal thoughts of Barry Fagan regarding leadership, water quality, and life. My intent is to create insightful, relevant stormwater-related content that you can put to work in your personal and professional life. If you are a water quality professional, a regulator, the regulated, a practitioner or simply in a position of influence —we all are—this blog is for you.
It is my goal to provide fresh content in seasons when it is possible. Notice of new posts and links will be posted via LinkedIn. Connect with or follow me there to stay up-to-date.
Thanks for what you do for water quality, and for spending time with us.
About the Author, Barry Fagan, PE/PLS, ENV SP, CPESC, CPMSM, CESSWI
Hi. I’m Barry Fagan. Helping others to get better at managing stormwater has been my personal is my mission for the last fifteen years. I lead a green infrastructure service area for Volkert, Inc. – a nearly year-old civil engineering firm that recognizes society’s need for livable, sustainable, and resilient infrastructure.
I helped the Alabama Department of Transportation create and tell its story for over 25 years. Now, I would like to help you tell yours. If you don’t happen to have a positive stormwater story, I can help you create one.
I have helped thousands of stormwater professionals get better at managing stormwater. Projects, programs, and organizations have benefited from my leadership, technical ability, and focus on value and innovation.
I hope that one day you and I will find an opportunity to get better together. Give me a call.
